SUMMARY

Provide Dental office support and billing services.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect and record patient health histories.

SUMMARY

Responsible for providing alcohol, drug, and mental health evidence-based treatment to adults and adolescents, with the ability to make dual diagnoses. Responsibilities in an inpatient position include assessment, brief intervention, and referral. This position works collaboratively with other providers on a daily basis.

  • Provides culturally competent, trauma-informed counseling services including assessment of client’s social, behavioral, emotional, and family situation and client’s goals in seeking outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Determine the level of treatment needed for each patient based on appropriate diagnostic and patient placement criteria; formulate and implement individualized, patient-centered treatment plans; and provide appropriate interventions based on ability to participate, cultural concerns, and diagnostic impression.
  • Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients and/or families seeking outpatient behavioral health services to help facilitate client focused change and resolution of client identified issues.
  • Participate as an active member of the clinical treatment team, including participating in case staffing and supervision sessions, collaborating to provide coverage for provider absences, sharing expertise and clinical impressions with team members, and attending staff meetings and trainings.

SUMMARY

Takes part in the daily review and process of internal and self-referrals for behavioral services. Provides coordinated care to a variety of patients enrolled in Psychiatric and Counseling services, and functions as part of the interdisciplinary care team by providing education and case management directly to patients, and support to Psychiatrists and Behavioral Providers. Performs intake triage, assists patients with mental health screenings, vitals, and referrals to labs. Coordinate with Clinic Coordinator, Care Concierge, and their front/back-office services regarding psychiatric and counseling services.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs intake triage, vitals, and assists patients with mental health screenings.
  • May advocate, coordinate on behalf of patients with schools.
  • Manages BH provider schedules to ensure department productivity.
  • Coordinates billing/credentialing issues with finance and HR department as needed.
  • Provides support to BH Providers and coordinates psychotropic medications requests for refill.
  • Works with Lab Assistant to urine for drug screens, blood draws, and performs injections.
  • Documents as appropriate vitals, screening and patient history personal information as needed.
  • Is responsible for daily review and processing referrals queue to BH services (internal and self-referrals). Closes referrals and fills structured data.
  • Responsible for prior authorization of psychotropic medications.

SUMMARY

Performs assigned tasks of direct and indirect care in the ambulatory setting to meet the care needs of patients under the direct supervision of a physician (medical acts) or assigned supervisor.
