CTCLUSI – A Tapestry of Tradition and Progress
Headquartered in Coos Bay, Oregon with a five-county service area including Coos, Curry, Douglas, Lane, and Lincoln Counties, the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians (CTCLUSI) are woven strands of four bands of three historically and culturally rich tribes; two bands of Coos Tribe: Hanis Coos, Miluk Coos; Lower Umpqua Tribe (Quuiich); and Siuslaw Tribe.
Our legacy is a mosaic of resilience, community, and stewardship, embodying thousands of years of connection to our ancestral lands and waters in coastal Oregon. Our identity is inseparable from the bountiful rivers, the vast ocean, and the ancient forests that have provided for us since time immemorial. We are committed to a future where our people thrive, enriched by opportunities and strengthened by the resilience that has defined us for generations.
